Text editor

You use AppWriter’s text editor if you do not, for example, have Microsoft Word installed. When using text editor, you do not have acces to the toolbar or the word suggestion box. If you have downloaded more than one language, you can change the language directly in the editor by clicking on the language at the top of the box.

The text editor also has built-in reading and word suggestions. To read a text you can mark one or more words and then press the play button. You can also set the cursor from where you want a sentence read and then press the play button. And when you type in the text editor, you will get word suggestions as soon as you start writing.

You can also use the dictionary in the text editor. Select the word you want the meaning of, and then click the dictionary icon.

The meaning dictionary will then open and you can read the meaning of the selected word here.

See how to get word suggestions and readings on Mac with AppWriter’s text editor in the video down below.
